Lesson 17 : Japanese slang

Hello everybody.
Lesson today is Japanese slang!

This lesson will very useful if you have japanese friend or you like Japanese drama.
Let's start!

ヤバい = said when something bad happens.  

キモイ= gross, bad feeling, or sick to the stomach. 

ブス  = Ugly. Originated from busaiku 

ずるい = Sneaky. Can also be used as “not fair!” or “you suck!”  

びみょう= Not very good.  

ウザい = annoying. Used to describe a person.

My own opinion : this slang is use for your friend or for listened form TV or Japanese drama.
and don't use for your teacher or your parent!

Hello everybody.
Lesson today is 'Sport'.

If you want to talk about sport with your friend,This  lesson is good for you!

やきゅう =  Baseball
すもう     =   Sumo Wrestling
すいえい =  Swimming
つり         =  Fishing
サッカー  =  Soccer
テニス     =  Tennis
ゴルフ    =   Golf
バスケットボール = Basketball
バレーボール = Volleyball
バドミントン = Badminton
ボーリング =  Bowling
ランニング = Running

and I'll give you some useful sentence for you.

うんどう　する = To do a sport.
わたしたちはサッカーをするつもりです。 = We are going to play soccer.
わたしたちはやきゅうをするつもりです。 = We are going to play baseball.

 My own opinion : when you finish this lesson,Let's go for some exercise. It's good for you health!

Hello everybody.
Lesson today is 'Weather'.

these vocabulary is very simple but very useful.
Let's start!

てんき　は　どう　ですか = How’s the weather?
さむい　です                       =  It's cold.
あたたかい　です               = It's warm.
あつい　です                       = It's hot.
あめ　が　ふって　います= It's raining.

And this is some more word that I think ti's important

ゆき  = snow
きり   = fog
じしん= earthquake
くも   = cloud

My own opinion :  simple and useful,it nice when you use for travel in japan

Lesson 14 : Talking about health

Hello everybody.
Lesson today is 'Talking about health '

when you get sick and go to hospital,these word is very important.
OK,Let's start!

あたま　が　いたい = headache
おなか　が   いたい = stomachache
のど　    が   いたい =  sore throat
は　       が    いたい =  toothache

Or when you feeling sick,you can speak this sentence.

きぶん　が　わるい　です =  I'm feeling sick

And this is interesting vocabulary

いたい = hurt
くすり   = medicine
びょういん = hospital 
びょうき  = sick

My own opinion : very useful when you travel in japan.Just remember it.

Hello everybody.
Lesson today is 'Day of the week'

ok I will show  you in hiragana first

にちようび  = Sunday

げつようび = Monday

かようび    = Tuesday 

すいようび = Wednesday 

もくようび  =  Thursday 

きんようび = Friday  

どようび   = Saturday

And this is Kanji

日曜日  = Sunday

月曜日 = Monday

火曜日    = Tuesday 

水曜日 = Wednesday 

木曜日 =  Thursday 

金曜日 = Friday  

土曜日  = Saturday

My own opinion : very simple but useful. this word is good for book hotel in japan

たなか	：	しゅうまつ　どこに　いきますか。
さとう	：	はこねに　いきます。 たなかさんは？
たなか	：	わたしは　どようび　ロンドンに　いきます。
さとう	：	ロンドン？　しゅっちょうですか。
たなか	：	ええ。そうです。
さとう	：	いつ　にほんに　かえりますか。
たなか	：	らいしゅうの　きんようび　かえります。

and it's translate here.

Tanaka	:	Where are you going for the weekend?
Satoo	:	I'm going to Hakone. How about you?
Tanaka	:	I'm going to London on Saturday.
Satoo	:	London? Is it a business trip?
Tanaka	:	Yes, it is.
